This is a short clip that shows some of the congregational singing at the Red River Family Encampment. The sound of 2,000 believers singing under a tent in the mountains is a unique and beautiful feature of the Encampment — it’s something you don’t want to miss.

RRFE 2016 Weather Report

Screenshot_2016-07-01-20-25-45-1The 2016 Red River Family Encampment is complete. The Weather was cool with afternoon showers. This is what we consider “normal” for our trips.

Temperature

The hottest day was a balmy 79 F. The days were cool and the night were still very comfortable. Tuesday night felt the coldest under the tent, likely because their was heavy rain a few hours before evening service.

Precipitation

There were light showers mid-afternoon of every day. Sunday and Tuesday had longer periods of heavier rain, with some hail and lightning on Monday.

Site Launch

We’ve launched the site!

My family has been attending the Red River Family Encampment since the first encampment in 1987. At least one of us has been to every encampment. We’ve decided to share what we’ve learned over 30 years of experience.

We hope it is a blessing to everyone and that you find the information useful.
